Lee Sung Kyung has made such a good move branching out into this role to show off that there's no reason to typecast her all the time. Her absolute favorite drama would be Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Well done so far to the writers, as well as the acting leads and secondary characters. I'm impressed with Nam Joo hyuk's ability to convey emotions very realistically through his face. I love the natural way in which the lead romance becomes what feels like a genuine trusting and caring relationship before anything else. You can't have more villains than people who you care about, and the best dramas often have multi-layered villains who are at least understandable. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo Yeokdoyojung Kimbokjoo (MBC / 2016-2017) - chicken restaurant customer (ep.2). I was a bit disappointed with 'The Man Living In Our House' even though it started out great, and I really feel like this drama "gets" it regarding what people want to see. I just had a good feeling about this as soon as it was announced and I'm so glad that it's working out great. I couldn't wait any longer holding out so that I could binge the whole show, so I settled for binging 9 episodes and waiting for the rest. His puppy faces and sacred little adoration for his family (of course, Bok Joo as well, but I think he's still confused about whether he has feelings for her or rather he isn't showing them confidently) are melting my heart. It'd get painfully frustrating to just keep watching one-sided love stories go on forever.Īll in all, they did it guys! The beach date! Nam Joo Hyuk is proving to be exceptionally good with those acting skills. I'd like to see them explore Joon Hyung's trauma and his swimming career a bit more in the further episodes. So I'm starting to have hope for her character. Despite going through a negative period, instead of getting worked up against Bok Joo, she wishes her well.
I really liked how they incorporated the most minimal interaction between Bok Joo & Shi-ho. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo FREE EngSub - EP 7 Recap: Bok Joo gets caught about going to weight clinic and receives a rebuke from her dad, Coach Choi, and. For a moment I thought she'd lose it and was fearing she'd make a mistake she's gonna regret for ages later but I'm so very glad she held the fort good. (Ep 9) This was the funniest episode so far until the last 10 mins or so. Where do I watch it with eng subs? (Viki is not licensed in my location.)Įdit: okay finally seen it and here's my thoughts.
